Jim Schouller | PGA Golf Professional

Jim truly loves the game of golf. His passion is derived from the fact that golf is a game that can be played for a lifetime. For this reason, junior camps are important at the club and a focus of his. Working at Abenaqui, he is devoted to maximizing each person's level of enjoyment. The golf staff looks forward to providing members and guests with Abenaqui's well-known warmth and hospitality. They hope to see members frequently on the course and are excited to meet prospective members and guests.

Sean Fellows | 1st Assistant PGA Golf Professional

Growing up with a father as a golf professional in New Hampshire, Sean has always been around the game of golf and has a lifetime passion for the game. Sean has worked as an assistant golf professional at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH, Wentworth by the Sea in Rye, NH and most recently the country club of New Seabury in Mashpee, MA.  Sean was also the Head Golf Coach for Cape Cod Academy in Osterville, MA, their home matches were played on the Dunes Course in New Seabury. Sean was elected to membership of the PGA of America as a Class A PGA Professional.

Sean grew up on Cape Cod in Falmouth, MA and moved to Bethlehem, NH in 2002 where he graduated from Profile High School in 2007.  He attended Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina.  He left Coastal Carolina University and pursued the PGA Class A designation on his own, away from the University. Sean was elected to Class A Membership in 2015. If he is not at work you can find him skiing, Sean works at Cannon Mountain during the winter season.  He has recently taken up surfing and loves living close to the Ocean.  He enjoys traveling and will be in Denmark this summer to attend a wedding!

Steve Serling | Assistant Golf Professional

Steve brings to Abenaqui extensive golf knowledge, experience, and education from various involvements. He is a United States Golf Teachers Federation Professional and a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach. Before joining Abenaqui, Steve spent a number of years as the Head Women's Golf Coach at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York and as the Golf Teaching Professional and Pro Shop Assistant at the Pompey Club in Pompey, New York.

Steve has been a golfer since age 7 and has more than 50 years of amateur and collegiate competitive golf experience at the local, state, and national level; including a Collegiate Golf All American Award while attending SUNY Oswego. Steve has been a frequent guest speaker for the Syracuse Executive Women's Golf Association and also coached an annual seven-week "Breaking 100" clinic for Syracuse EWGA members. 

Steve and his wife, Lisa, moved to the Seacoast several years ago in order to be near their oldest daughter, Sarah, and her husband, Dan Clapp and their two grandchildren, Larkyn and Hadley. Their younger daughter, Molly, lives in Hoboken, NJ with her husband Rob. Outisde of Abenaqui you may find Steve enjoying outdoor music on the seacoast, spending time with his family and cooking. He is also the owner of a custom closet business!

When speaking about his love of teaching golf, Steve references the satisfaction of "helping people enjoy the thrill of making progess toward the conistent scoring and hitting a golf ball solid!"

Patrick Kelley | Grounds Superintendent

Pat Kelley has been Abenaqui's Ground Superintendent for over 35 years! He originally hails from Glastonbury, Connecticut and currently resides in Straham with his wife, Lottie Jo. They have three children; Colleen, Jillian, and Dan, and several grandchildren.

Pat attended the University of Connecticut and majored in Horticulture. Furthering his education, he attended the University of Massachussets for Turf Grass Management. Pat is a member of the New Hampshire Golf Course Association and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He is dedicated to continued origination and improvement.

In his free time, you may find Pat partaking in numerous outdoor activities - hunting, fishing, skiing, and of course, golfing! A big kudos to his wife, Lottie, Pat says his favorite food is whatever she prepares. Pat's passion at Abenaqui has always been to provide exceptional playing conditions. This includes attention to detail and presenting members and their guests with a pleasurable Abenaqui experience.

Jim Sheerin | Pro-Emeritus 

Jim Sheerin has been with Abenaqui for over 40 seasons! In 2014, Jim stepped down from the postion of Master Golf Professional to become an ambassador for the Abenaqui experience. He is originally from South Lawrence, MA. He attended Andover Institute of Business. Jim holds the highest classification in the Professional Golfers Association; PGA Master Status. Jim has been a PGA member for over 45 years.

He currently resides in Rye with his wife, Pamela Sheerin. Their family tree first began with three girls - Kimberly, Melanie, and Rebecca. Today Jim and Pam have four grandchildren - Caton James, Phoebe Jane, Duke Ol Kinoa, and Estella Grace. Rounding out the family is Bella Luna, their loveable Yellow Labrador.

In his free time, Jim likes to play golf (of course)! He also enjoys reading and gardening. He is a comfort food fan; he lists a three way tie between pot roast, shepherd's pie, and meat loaf. Well known to members at Abenaqui is Jim's sincerety and hospitality. He is passionate about customer service for members and their guests. 

Pamela Sheerin | Golf Program Ambassador

Pamela Goodsell Sheerin has been with Abenaqui for over 40 seasons! She was born in Newton, MA and having been brought up in a Navy family, has lived in Florida, California, Massachussetts. Virginia, and Hawaii! Pam attended the University of Rhode Island, majoring in English and Elementary Education. She has competed on a national level with the Embroiders Guild of America.

She currently resides in Rye with her husband, Jim Sheerin. Their family tree first began with three girls - Kimberly, Melanie, and Rebecca. Today Jim and Pam have four grandchildren - Caton James, Phoebe Jane, Duke Ol Kinoa, and Estella Grace. Rounding out the family is Bella Luna, their loveable Yellow Labrador.

Pam's pastime is filled with activity - singing, needlework, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening and going to the beach. When asked what her favorite foods are, she lists lobster, granny smith apples, and popcorn. Pam volunteers as a needlework judge at fairs and sews for a cause that assists Afghanistan students in attending school. Furthermore she is a deisgner of custom, handmade wedding veils.

At Abenaqui, Pam's sincerety and enthusiasm has propelled the golf shop forward in sales and service. Her hopes for the upcoming season include meeting the four and five year old golfers in the golf program. She enjoys the positivity and fun the program imparts. Golf clinics renew her interest each year; Pam knows that young people are the future golf members at the club!
